Behind the Camera

IMG_7119_edited.jpg

I was nine years old when this photo was taken, I was on my first missions trip to Mexico. We were doing trailer ministry working with local families and kids, when this little guy started to follow me around. I went the rest of the night with him on my hip, and it wasn't until we were about to leave that I figured out who he belonged to. An older woman approached me with the biggest grin on her face because she was so excited that the "blonde girl" took the time to acknowledge her grandson. Little did I know, this boy was planting a seed in me for seeing the unseen that would follow me for the rest of my life.

My dad quick snapped this photo to send to my mom back home. The sad thing is I probably would have forgotten this entire moment if it weren't captured by photograph.
This imperfect, grainy, spontaneous photo captured a fleeting moment, and turned it into a memory.

About Me

Before you go ahead & trust me to capture some of your most special moments - I thought it would be best to share a bit about myself.

Most importantly, I am a Jesus follower & strive to glorify Him through my work. Capturing His creation & serving people is my entire heart for Claire Esther Photo. I have two golden retrievers who are my entire world, Maggie & Brody. I am a homebody through and through, there's nowhere else I'd rather be than at home, with my crazy family. I am a new college student, just figuring out this whole life thing as I go! I myself am not a fan of being in front of the camera, I get it! My goal is to make you feel like yourself & have fun along the way!

Being creative & serving others gives me life. My heart has always been to serve others, and I have spent the majority of life trying to find creative ways to love the people around me. So far, photography has been my favorite one yet!

I'm so glad & so so grateful you're here. I truly could not do this thing without YOU or JESUS! I'm not sure what all He has for Claire Esther Photo, but I'm striving to hold it loosely & choosing to fully trust Him with it. He has never let me down.
